Despite the inconsistent play of the Flyers they are only 3 points out of the playoffs and with Boston on protocol and not knowing when they will play again and how well they will be they are very much in the hunt for the Playoffs. Being an Islanders fan I dont want it to start tomorrow but if they were to win it's only one point. I except a desperate flyers team tomorrow night and if the Islanders dont Match there intensity it will be a very tough situation

I always thought a Pixies "p" seen here would be a great 3rd Jersey.

I might have a theory as to why host has been sitting and players like Gust, Prosser and Carsen are in the lineup, along with Patrick. Its trade deadline time and these players are being showcased. Ghost sitting as a result, because teams already know what they are getting with him. This I hope means the Fletcher will actually do something on or before the deadline.

On a brighter note, Tyson Foerster with his 2nd goal of the season last night. This is big because he is showing can play at the AHL level and make a difference. This bodes well for him potentially making the Flyers next season.

Teams know what Prosser is. He is an AHL depth defenseman. He has a very low value at the trade deadline if any at all. Teams also know what Gustafsson is. Teams already have plenty of games to watch Gustafsson to know what he brings.
I pray that Fletcher makes the proper assessment of this team for this season and waits until the off season to make some smart moves.

Morning peeps, hopefully the Isles can continue the Flyers misery.

Get Allison (while actually healthy) and Laczynski up. Have seen enough NAK Bunny and CT as neither offer very little.

Just waive Ghost as clearly the coaching staff has no need for him.

Bill could you add some insight to the ghost sitting? He had a tough one in that rangers game but other than that he has been one of our best Dmen as of late.

That would be insane, we direly need wins, there’s no way we are sitting a Dman to showcase those scrubs

while I want to wait there is also a business side. Coming into the season I don't think making the playoffs was a big concern and now it is. They are in striking distance and can make it, I am not sure that Fletch will have a choice, he will have to make a move to get them in. The only way he might not is if Coots is out long term, that creates way to many holes, ones you can't fill. If they win tonight and Coots is day to day, you will see a trade.

Lol the book is out on all of them. For whatever reason the coaching staff does not see Ghost as a fit in our lineup which is crazy with how bad some guys have been playing and the fact that Nate Prosser is in our line up. What the FRANK is going on with this team. I almost want to scorch the earth and flip the whole roster and entire coaching staff

Bill, with the tournament starting this week I’m just wondering which Flyers prospects will be signed this year. York, Attard, Cates? Also are you aware of any NCAA free agents that they may be pursuing? Thinking of Alex Steeves or Matt Kiersted specifically.

Yes. The key word being business. If not much or small moves this season I have to imagine this is not what the execs had in mind.
